Even in Ladakh with the arrival of spring, schools have slowly reopened. After the long winter marked once again by the severe restrictions adopted in India to contain the pandemic, life is resuming a “new” normalcy.
For Munsel School, these two years of forced isolation introduced for the health emergency have helped to consolidate the independence of active staff on site. The teachers, who have always closely followed the children and their families, have shown great resourcefulness and professionalism. We worked remotely to complete and update all the programs together, evaluate the progress of students and users, adapt the activities to the constant changes. And now we can finally prepare our return to the field!
I will leave at the end of May with Angela Giacomazzi, who after having worked for many years with disabled children has now chosen to dedicate part of her time to us and share her precious experience; and with Wilma Minoggio, who accompanies us in the double role of specialized teacher and responsible for other projects followed during the years of teaching, business management and also in volunteering.
I am very happy to be able to meet the children, their families and all the staff again!
We will gladly update you directly from Ladakh with photos and short texts that you can find on the site where I remind you, the agenda with appointments and initiatives in support of Munsel School also appears.

As usual, the funds raised will be entirely donated to associations active in Ticino and the Elda group has chosen to allocate part of the proceeds to us again this year.
