It was a busy summer: the work on the construction of the new Munsel School at Choglamsar has made rapid progress. Many volunteers have made their precious contribution also directly on building site that, according to ancient local traditions, also received the blessing of a Lama.
Mara spent almost a month in Leh to closely follow projects related to educational development of the school. The teachers keep increasing their autonomy and further important insights are added from local institutions. In autumn some students with a physical handicap will be able to take exams enabling them to be integrated in the elementary level of the public school.
