Finally and with great enthusiasm also the students of Munsel School were able to return to school.
The teachers and all the staff easily adapted to the new hygiene rules and taught even the youngest children just off the bus how to properly disinfect their hands.

The return to the classroom was extremely important to find friends, direct contact with the teachers but also the calm and regular rhythm that marks the day.

The pandemic did not excessively affect the program: the distancing was respected without problems even during gymnastics classes.

The Covid-19 emergency in Ladakh has not yet completely subsided. As a precaution, the authorities have just imposed a new temporary closure until 2 October. The very strict rules applied by the Government have so far made it possible to avoid the development of dangerous outbreaks especially among people at risk and frail such as children and users of Munsel School and to guarantee safe return to the classroom every time.

The school year will end as usual in November and we await the next decisions to find out if we can still reopen or we will have to wait until spring.
