The First Lady of Leh, Neelam Mishara, was the guest of honor at the special day, organized on August 22 at Munsel School. During the event, the Government, represented on the occasion by Mam Nilza Angmo of the Department of Social Works, was thanked for its valuable support.

The delegation was shown the material received and projects and activities were presented.

Neelam Mishara was welcomed by Dr. Tsering Landol, President of our Ladakhi Committee.

The event was also attended by many other members of the Committee, including Dr. Dolma and Dr. Chorol, the teachers, the new CEO Tsewang Ihanzes and several students.

To illustrate the activities of Munsel School and tell its story, during the meeting with the authorities, the new documentary, made in 2023 by the Ladakhi director Tashi Dawa, was screened. The performance of a student who performed a traditional dance was also greatly appreciated.
