MARA CASELLAMUNSEL SCHOOL FOUNDER
Mara Casella, who grew up in Bellinzona, is a special-school teacher with a vast experience in teaching and educating handicapped people.

In the summer of 2005, Mara Casella moved to the Himalayan mountains in the north of India. Her aim, working closely with Marianne Aerni, a friend from Geneva, was to start a humanitarian project in favour of handicapped children.
In Leh (the capital of Ladakh) they created from scratch 'Munsel', a small special school which was later to develop into a training centre for local teachers and become a point of reference for families facing the problem of handicap.
